Protecting Medical Devices/Equipment and Healthcare Technology

BSKB is presenting a free seminar that will cover Intellectual Property Issues (mostly patent issues) in the medical technology and healthcare fields. The seminar will not cover patenting of inventions relating to pharmaceutical products but instead will focus on medical related inventions that have a significant mechanical, electrical or data
processing component to the invention. The seminar will consist of four live (virtual) 90 minute sessions from 9:30 to 11:00 am (JST), with each session being presented by two lecturers (each lecturer being an attorney, U.S. patent agent or Japanese benrishi). One lecturer will be a native English speaker and the other lecturer will be a native Japanese speaker. English and Japanese language slides will be provided before each lecture. The first session will be an overview and introduction and the next three sessions will focus on different technology areas.
