Whitney Remily has approximately 20 years of experience as a lawyer and registered patent agent. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution, client counseling, and rendering patent opinions, as well as due diligence, portfolio management, and landscape analyses.
Whitney has significant experience with pharmaceuticals, organic and inorganic chemistry, agrochemicals, petroleum chemistry, catalysts, cosmetics, diagnostics, polymers, food products, nutritional supplements, cigarettes, fine chemicals, and medical devices.
Whitney previously worked at Merck & Co. as a synthetic organic chemist, where she was involved in the synthesis and development of pharmaceutical compounds. She has a master’s degree in organic chemistry/medicinal chemistry from the Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, with a double major in chemistry and biology (biochemistry).
